The EX411 offers mulitple functions so you can carry one meter into the field instead of several. The manual-ranging EX411 measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, diode, and continuity, all with +/-0.5 percent basic accuracy. The unit has low current capability, measuring down to 0.1uA, and features input fuse protection and mis-connection warnings. A Type K thermometer is built in for surface or air temperature measurements.
CAT III test leads are included. For added convenience, the unit comes with a multi-position tilt stand, a Velcro strap for hanging, and a protective holster with handy test lead holder.
True RMS Prevents Distortion from Electronic Devices
It can be very difficult to make accurate current and voltage readings in industrial and commercial applications when electronic devices are present. Fluorescent lights, motor drives, computer power supplies, and other electronic systems can distort the AC waveform, making it hard for averaging meters to get an accurate read. True RMS uses a more advanced formula to compensate for this kind of distortion.
Large, Backlit LCD Screen For Easy Reading
Readings on the EX411 are displayed on a large, backlit LCD screen with easy-to-read, 1-inch-high digits. The 2,000-count screen offers high resolution over wide ranges, and features a data hold function that "freezes" information on the screen for longer viewing. To preserve your batteries, the unit has auto power-off.

The Extech EX411 is ergonomically designed and weighs less than 1 pound, so it offers a comfortable grip for one-handed operation. It measures a slim 7-2/5 by 3-1/5 by 2 inches (H x W x D), and uses one 9-volt battery.
